I was able to work with Blair for 3 months at DevMountain. I had the opportunity to pair program with Blair on several occasions while working together on our group capstone project at DevMountain. During my time working with Blair, it became obvious that he was able to write more efficient code and create more creative solutions than that of his peers. This was reflected when he was the top choice to become a mentor for incoming cohorts at DevMountain. Blair has shown a solid understanding of Javascript, React, HTML, CSS, Express JS and PostgreSQL. I have seen first-hand his desire to learn new things and have been able to join him in putting in extra hours to expand his knowledge base and pick up new technologies. We worked on https://meetup-clone.com together for 3 weeks as our capstone project at DevMountain. Blair thrived in a group setting and carried more than his share of the load. If I, or any of our group members, needed help he was happy to put his work on hold to work through the issue with us. After being in the workforce for roughly 3 months at this point, it has only solidified my opinion of Blair. He was one of the best developers in our cohort, and i would put him among the best developers i have encountered in a professional setting. Due to his work ethic and desire to constantly learn I would highly recommend Blair to any company.

Blair is more enthusiastic about learning than virtually anyone I know. We worked together on several projects as students at DevMountain where he continuously proved himself to be one of the brightest and hardest-working of our group. His solutions are smart, simple, and intuitive and his code is readable and scalable. Not only is he great at code, Blair is personable and fun to be around. He's always happy to help others. By the end of our time at DevMountain he was known amongst several classes as the person to go to for help. It's no surprise that DevMountain hired him to be a mentor immediately after graduation. Blair and I worked together on a two week group project with one other person. He more than pulled his weight. His skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and React were a huge support to the team and his natural leadership abilities kept us on track and on time. Our project looks clean and professional because of his knowledge and ability - https://meetup-clone.com. I couldn't recommend Blair more. By the time you read this he'll have doubled what he can already do. He'd be a powerful addition to any company or team.
