Monte Nido provides comprehensive programs and multiple levels of care for the treatment of eating disorders. The Program Director is an integral member of the facility leadership team and works closely with the Clinical Director and Nurse Manager. As a Program Director, my responsibilities include: • Overseeing all aspects of the program to ensure adherence to JCO and OMH licensing regulations including health and safety standards, facility and chart audits and HIPAA compliance • Gathering data, collating and facilitating quarterly meetings. Attendees include facility and executive leadership • Creating, issuing and tracking mandated monthly trainings for all staff • Facilitate client admissions including review of all required paperwork necessary for client chart compliance (medical clearance, biopsychosocial evaluation, intake assessment, facility and compliance related consents) prior to client arrival • Managing all employee and client grievances and incidents reports including associated documentation • Participating in collaborative interview process to determine appropriateness and qualifications of prospective staff members • Onboarding new Monte Nido employees including initiating license verification and New York state required background checks • Executing bi-weekly payroll for over 75 employees • Working closely with HR to ensure that personnel files are complete and compliant with requirements established by Monte Nido and Affiliates as well as licensing bodies • Liaison between current employees, HR, payroll and finance department As a family coach, my responsibilities include: • Educating parents about eating disorders and mental health issues • Co-facilitating “supporters only” groups • Creating strategies with parents for setting realistic boundaries with actionable consequences • Facilitating communication within the family and assisting families in creating a united front when challenged by the illness
