Andrew Berkowitz
Kwaku Boateng was a student of mine at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology in Accra. He was selected for a full year scholarship program in entrepreneurship and tech from thousands of talented applicants across the continent. Despite his academic background in real estate, he was commonly chosen by his peers to execute on technical solutions for experimental startups that were created during the program. He demonstrated excellence in Rails development as well as Android and Java (two classes which I taught). When his startup was selected for followup funding by our organization, one of the major reason was his (and his team's) technical abilities.
