This period I still acted as Team Leader for the Swedish AE team but instead of working as an AE I worked as an Internal Sales Engineer (ISE)As an ISE I sold National Instruments to customers by basically providing technical solutions to them proving that our product could solve their applications/problems. And when techical aspects didn't alone work I had to try to persuade that our solution was the best.These 6 months gave me a deep understanding of fundamental sales techniques and the machinery that drives a smooth sales organization.After 6 months as a AE Team leader and ISE I was awarded the presitge Rookie of the year award in the Northern Region. That prize is awarded to a person who is new on a position in the organization and have produced results that is way over what is expected.
