I first met and worked alongside Bjorn, during the stabilisation and recovery of a seriously late and failing £120M+ TCV global IPVPN Managed Services Programme, across over 60+ countries for pharmaceutical multinational. Bjorn and I joined the programme at the same time. Bjorn joined the customer's team in the role of Global Delivery Assurance & Performance Manager and I joined as the supplier team as Global Programme Director. On numerous occasion, Bjorn brought his huge intellect to bear on a series of complex issues that had dogged the programme throughout its lifecycle. He was collaborative and an excellent facilitator concerning escalations to the customer. He was firm but fair throughout and meticulous in his delivery assurance/audit role. The already late programme although time boxed, was successfully recovered and delivered inside the contract envelope.
