I have been working on two studies. The first one is centered around a company that is moving from a traditional office to an activity based office landscape. The aim of the project is to evaluate the implementation prcess as well as the effects of moving to the new office on the workers. The outcomes of interest include health, physical activity, and work environment. The second study I am involved in focuses on the assocation between brain health (including mental health and cognition) and physical activity among adolecents. The project starts off with a cross-sectional study, followed by a experimental study with the final outcome being a report on how to improve physical activity guidelines in schools. Show less

During the first part of my time as a PhD student/research assistant at Karolinska Institutet I was responsible for organizing and analyzing data from accelerometers and pulse watches. Later I begun to write papers using the data collected and attended courses related to epidemiology, biostatistics and other topics to further my knowledge and understanding of important issues related to my PhD project.
