Appointed and ordained Bishop and head of Mission for the Coptic Orthodox Church worldwide.Accomplishments: Geographically expanded and diversified spiritual, medical and humanitarian initiatives with a focus on Africa. Mainly in Kenya, Zambia, Congo, Nigeria, Tanzania and all over the world. -In Nairobi, Kenya:(i) Administrative official of Coptic Mission PEPEFAR funded program through CDC since 2004. The program care for 35,000 ever enrolled PLHIV.(ii) Supervises many large programs such as the Treatment Literacy Program funded by Breadfortheworld (Brot), Germany which cares for and raises awareness about HIV and other communicable and non comunicable diseases in schools, hospitals and communities. The Project runs in 5 countries in Africa. (iii) Supervises the Coptic Hospital which is a Level 6 hospital in Nairobi County with a capacity of 250 beds, 5 operating rooms (theaters), among other departments.(iv) Supervises a sex workers rehabilitation program that empowers women working in the field to reduce their occupational risk in Nairobi and Nakuru. (v) Oversees an empowerment program that cares for over 200 widows and over 2,000 orphans.(vi) Runs a drop-in rehabilitation centre (Raha Kids) providing over 70 youths with Education, medical and spiritual care and a life off the streets.-In Zambia and Tanzania: (i) Oversees 3 orphan schools that caters to the lives of 300 orphans and street children.(ii) Oversees Coptic Hospital Zambia that provides charity care for the people of Lusaka and Coptic Hope Centre that cares for 7000 HIV positive patients.(iii) Supervises Coptic Hospital and Coptic Hope Centre, Tanzania that cares for 4000 HIV positive patients.
