I assisted many Conservation Biology researchers carry out research in the field; some of the experience I got during that time include bird survey, bird trapping (mist nets) and handling, nest observation, sampling bird faeces and separation, entering data on Microsoft Excel and vegetation sampling. I was also involved in a project that created conservation awareness for village communities surrounding Amurum forest Reserve (Sustainability and Conservation Education for Rural Areas, SCERA). In this project we assisted in administering questionnaires and organising meetings between the villagers and the researchers,More information on SCERA can be found on the link below.https://www.equatorinitiative.org/2017/06/22/building-sustainable-partnerships-to-promote-capacity-building-and-rural-empowerment-for-community-based-conservation/
