Conducted bone tissue engineering research involving development and production of PLGA and chitosan polymer scaffolding that were subsequently tested in cell culture experiments. Developed and optimized a water/oil/water emulsion technique for reproducible fabrication of chitosan microspheres, successfully scaling up yield by 4 times compared to initial pilot testing. Isolated murine bone mesenchymal stem cells for primary culture and differentiation towards osteoblasts. Performed ELISA assays, both kit and self-assembled. Show less
