Binny worked with me, when I was handling the feature pages for Muscat Daily. From the very beginning, she was incredibly eager to contribute. Despite being new to Muscat, she had her finger on the city's pulse, constantly feeding us with ideas that made the pages look sharp, refreshing and enjoyable to read. With me, she covered fashion, food, lifestyle and travel; the stories were always turned in on time. She is also incredibly vivacious and her energy infectious, which makes her a great colleague to work with. We had a brief stint together, but a great one.

As the Executive Editor at Muscat Daily, I worked with Binny Mary Paul from May 2015 to Jan 2019. During this time, she was responsible for handling the features section of the daily newspaper - she was responsible for generating stories and content for the section daily. She contributed many well-researched stories on lifestyle, luxury, human interest, travel, food, and architecture among others. She has an excellent grasp of Middle Eastern socio-cultural-political issues and her stories on local communities and trends in Oman were much appreciated by readers. In 2018, she hosted the Oman Woman of the Year Awards and subsequently authored a coffee table book ‘Oman Woman Of the Year’ profiling some of the most influential women in Oman. As a part of the corporate CSR and branding initiative for Muscat Daily, she collaborated and coordinated the media partnership with TEDxMuscat for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. Her networking skills are commendable and she was able to arrange corporate partnerships with prestigious organisations for Muscat Daily's social media initiatives and campaigns. Binny is enthusiastic, full of creative ideas, shows plenty of initiative and can be counted upon to deliver outstanding results. She is a team player and will be a valuable asset to any organisation. There is no doubt in my mind that she will do very well in whatever endeavour she undertakes in the future.
