Drove several hygiene improvement projects that led to better Quality performance for the Plant, including minimization of Plant wetwash. Received the Department of Energy Secretary's Award for achieving 15.1% reduction in energy consumption without a reduction in Plant output.

Led the outsourcing (change in supply point) in 2007 of the liquid Tempra manufacturing to Indonesia and Pediatric Vitamins to local TPM without any business interruption. This project brought significant savings for the BMS system. Managed the peaceful redundation of the affected Liquid line personnel with HR. Was given the Team Excellence Award for this effort.Was given additional responsibility in August 2007 to manage the Plant maintenance function. Initiated better Preventive Maintenance program and equipment improvements that saw line efficiency increase from a low of 80% in June to a high of 87% in October. Managed the paper label project that resulted in US$625,000 in productivity savings for Supply Chain. Wrote and contributed standards for the development of the first Global Plant Design Standards that focused on Hygienic Engineering designs to enhance Plant Hygiene conditions. Was the designated person to roll-out and disseminate the Standards to the Asian Plants. Hosted the first Regional Engineering Managers three-day meeting in Manila.Drove down Plant utilities consumption through the implementation of energy conservation projects. This effort led to BMS receiving the Department of Energy Hall of Fame Award in 2006. Received Global EHS Safety Achievement Award for enhancing Company EHS awareness leading to longest no-Lost Time Accident achievement of more than 700 days.

Gradually increased Plant production capacity to double from 2001 to 2004 to provide enough capacity to secure Indonesian volume. Implemented productivity initiatives that saw a reduction in headcount by 15 through the installation of the auto-traypacker, BIB cartoner & casepacker and efficient transfer conveyors. Developed the Plant's Master Plan (2002-2006) that served as the blueprint for the capacity and capability increase, GMP and re-layouting of the Plant. Managed the Ready-To-Drink milk (RTD) production through a local TPM. Continuous and efficient delivery of stocks helped Lactum garner a 3% market share in the very competitive liquid milk market. Core team member that developed the RTD business in unprecedented record time of 8 months. Was given the President's Team Excellence Award for the fast speed-to-market of the pioneering RTD milk.Was given the Developmental Assignment of handling the Indirect Purchasing function. Re-launched the Purchasing policy and developed procedures to streamline and improve customer service levels. Generated savings (cost avoidance) of more than P10MM through negotiation and improving competition.
