  My father left Nepal, and my family, when I was two years old. He was the only one in our family to receive a visa to travel to America. My father worked hard in America, cooking, in order to reunite his family. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, back in Nepal, my mother raised me, my two sisters, and my brother. My mother taught us many things, most importantly the family recipes. After ten years of separation, my dad secured visas for my entire family, and brought us to our new home in Texas. We now celebrate our reunion as often as we can, preparing our favorite Nepali recipes together. I started Bindu Bites because I want to share the authentic tastes of Nepal that united my family, and help bring others together with good healthy tasty food...one bite at a time. Show less
