The course CSCI 7727 Development of MIS I prepares students to be able to do requirements elicitation and analysis, systems design, object design, systems testing, project management in terms of object-oriented systems development methodology. It teaches students the MVC style based on entity objects, boundary objects, and control objects to develop an application by creating a system’s functional model, dynamic model, analysis object model, systems design model and object design model in UML. The course requires students to develop an online e-commerce system. Bindi successfully completed the project with the highest score in the class. She scored A in the subject that only 6 out of 22 students got. She always tried to be involved in the class discussions either asking me questions or answering my questions. She had never missed any class. She was hired as a Teaching Assistant for the class in Fall 2016 because of her excellence in the subject. All of those show that she wants to learn and to be successful in her professional career. Overall, Bindi is a self-motivated, self-disciplined, and a reliable IT professional.
