      I am currently assisting Lochner Engineering Inspectors, Lochner Project Engineer with inspection work on a Johnson Bros(Southland Corporation) job and a Drewery Construction job on US 69 in Angelina County near Lufkin, Texas. Roadway work consist of converting 2 lane rural highway to a divided 4 lane rural highway. Excavation, Embankment, cement treatment, limestone base and base cement treatment, drainage structures, cement stab backfill, drill shafts DSMS sign and Camera’s, prime, seal coat, hot mix (base and surface), SW3P, concrete painting, seeding, traffic control and barricades inspections, sign installation and striping. I am currently ACI Certified in Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 and ACI Concrete Strength Testing. I am also Certified in TXHMAC Hot Mix Level 1B Roadway Inspection and testing. I have completed all TXDOT required environmental classes on line for CEI Inspectors. I have OSHA 10 hr training. Assisting with all items of work and doing pay sheets for those items of work. I currently schedule most all project testing with the testing lab on the Drewery job. I am currently only inspector assigned to Drewery job with minimum oversight from Chief Inspector with Lochner. I am doing strength testing on the Johnson Bros job. I am doing materials management for test cylinders in site manager for and assisting with cable barrier work Johnson Bro ( Southland Corporation) job. Almost 3/4 completed with Drewery Construction job. Total distance of the 2 jobs is 18 miles in length. The 2 jobs total approximately 110 million in contracts. Show less

      I was listed as Field Engineer on a 142 million dollar TXDOT project near Lufkin Texas. I assist with overall project management by assisting superintendents with my knowledge of TXDOT specifications and plans. I have the ability to plan and oversee day to day operations of the crews. I started working checking plans for quantity, plan errors and shop drawings.I have found several items that were incorrect, missed and or not added into overall estimates and quantities for project. I found that the detour phase traffic control plan was incorrect, assisted with submitting RFI and received new Traffic control plan for Detour. I assist the Office Engineer with submitting RFI’s on questions about the project and or plans. Splitting plans from overall set to individual bridges. I verify all measurements and Quantities for Estimate with CEI inspectors and Engineer. I report those quantities weekly and monthly to PM, CM and Project Engineer. Laying out for and assisting with setting up traffic control for daily operations and was MOT supervisor for a while. I assist with and order some materials for project. Have worked on SWPPP site map for project. I was SW3P supervisor over all SW3P work. I assist with soil identification and I scheduling testing by outside Testing labs. I am running soil moistures/ dry backs for project when needed. I assist with and oversee the field work done by sub contractors. I do have experience working with bridge structures, dirt work. I am currently planning and overseeing treatment work, pavement structures for internal crews and sub contractor. I am overseeing prime coat also. I order all materials and set up delivery. Making sure all testing is done in a timely manner. I currently have certifications in CON 816, ENV432, MNT 415. I am certified in Work Zone Traffic Control. I am also ACI Field Testing Grade 1. I was certified in TXDOT Lufkin District In concrete sampling and testing. I Currently have OSHA 10 card. I was trained in Traffic Control TUMTCD. I was certified in TX-HMAC Hot Mix as a Level 1A lab specialist and Level 1-B roadway testing. I was also BNSF and UPRR contractor safety course certified. I was also certified in soils testing and sampling. I was responsible for all testing and all input of documentation into Site Manager Inspector and Site Manager Material Testing. Along with Site manager work I also conducted self audits of projects as l was completing them. I consistently had very good reviews from auditors. I was also trained in Micro-Station Design Systems. I assisted the Nacogdoches Area Engineer in handling complaints and meetings with contractors.I have worked on and inspected on the following type projects:bridge, overpass , railroad,widening phase construction, ADA,micro-surface and hot-mix projects. I was inspector on Patroon Bayou Bridge Replacement project, where the previous bridge had washed away. The emergency bridge replacement project consisted of drill shafts and columns being constructed from barges. I also inspected SH 7 RGS (pass through plate girder) overpass where I worked daily with railroad employees to provide for the safety of railroad and contractors employees, coordinated with utility company’s due to the fact the project was on Txdot and BNSF right of way. My last TXDOT inspection job was LOOP 500 in Center, Texas that consisted of all new location roadway with a 1300 ft long bridge/railroad overpass. I was the only inspector assigned to projects.       Wildland FireFighter : I was NWCG trained wildland firefighter. Worked on emergency response all over Texas. Worked with Division of Emergency Management Texas on Hurricanes, Tornados, Floods and Extremely Large Wild Fires.
