  After two weeks work experience where I learnt about various roles in local government I heard from one of the managers who was recruiting for a new apprentice position to which I applied. Once I was hired I continued my learning to a wider scale gaining more knowledge in local government than before. I work confidently within a team that provides welfare rights advice and money and debt advice to support residents through the cost of living crisis.   This was an internal promotion from Crew Member where I took courses on customer service and how to interact with customers in a variety of situations.
