  National Vehicle Distribution is Ireland’s largest new vehicle storage and distribution centre. My duties:2000: PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) working knowledge of the components of the vehicles and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting2001: Promoted to Commercial Vehicle Fabrication department - new vehicles converted to commercial vehicles. Fabrication of one off vehicle floors that were used as a template for mass production. In the summer months I drove a five car transporter around Dublin city and the greater area. I also undertook the role of customer care representative by travelling around Ireland repairing minor problems in commercial vehicles they may have been missed on exit of the workshop.

My responsibilities as a six colour (CI) printer operator involved high attention to detail while producing a high volume of food packaging products, Mainly paper and polypropylene.Setting up plates, changing unit colours, changing reels, control of heater units, control of reel tension, aligning print plates, ink viscosity control and colour consistency management are some of the skills involved in the process.
