Organize, direct, administer and assist head coach in all aspects of the Men’s soccer program in accordance with NCAA Division I, Big South (previously of the Atlantic Sun), Conference and Campbell rules and regulations.• Planning and implementing training sessions and working closely with all players.• Developing a strategy for each match and evaluating game film.• Recruiting through the state of North Carolina and nationally to identify talented student-athletes who blend well with the mission of the University and soccer program.• Working with Academic Services to monitor the progress of each team member - keeping weekly records of Individualized Study Plans.• Advertising, organizing and overseeing the Campbell University Soccer Academy, which includes overnight camps, day camps, and team camps for boys.• Teach a spring semester course in the Exercise Science Department (2010 – 2013).Program Highlights:• Secured Campbell University’s first ever NCAA Tournament Berth in 2007.• Campbell University’s first ever Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament Championship (2007).• Secured Campbell’s second and third regular season titles in 2008 and 2009.• Atlantic Sun’s first conference member to go undefeated (9-0) in conference play.• Campbell University’s first ever end of year National ranking 2008, ranked as high as #22, finished #25.• Team has been ranked in the final South Regional ranking three times and has finished in the top 10 in 2007, 2012 and as high as #3 in 2008.• 22 All-Conference, 2 Player of the year, 2 Freshman of the year, 7 All-South, 2 All-Americans, 3 players in the MLS Combine (all in the past six years – two in the past two years).• Academic Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year (Matthew “Scooter” Oliver, 2013).• National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Awards with a Team GPA of 3.0 + (2007, 2008, 2013).
