In December of 2018, our Executive Director asked me to take an instructor course in First Aid and CPR so that we can move our employee training in-house instead of contracting it out. After successfully completing this 20hr course, I am now certified to teach our staff.Using my instructor certification as well as skills obtained through my Community Emergency Response Team training in 2013, I am able to teach and certify our staff in:- CPR- First Aid- AED use- Blood-borne pathogens and how to prevent infection- How to respond to natural disasters- Disaster medical triage and operations part I and II- Fire suppression related to disasters- Light search and rescue related to disasters- Disaster psychologyThe primary reason for moving our training in house was to increase the quality of it. Since December 2018, I have certified over 50 employees in CPR/AED/First Aid, 2 senior site directors in Disaster Management and will soon be teaching our elementary/middle school children in CPR as well. • Office Manager
      • Aug 2014 - Present

At Team Prime Time, I have many different roles to ensure our operation runs smoothly. When I first started in 2014, my role was primarily screening incoming calls/emails, forwarding them to the appropriate person and substituting at any of our after school site if an employee was absent. Since then, my role has expanded as we have grown. We now have 3 fee-for-service after school locations, 5 ASES grant-funded after school locations and our own special needs sports-inclusion after school program. Over the years, I have learned how to reduce the costs associated with our operations such as internet, telephone, insurance, food and supplies. I have negotiated our credit card processing fees down to a percentage that only big corporations could get and have been successful in 95% of chargebacks against us. My primary duties now include:- Answer incoming calls and emails- Communicate daily with stakeholders (parents, administration, children)- Attend various LACOE webinars to further develop Team Prime Time's programming- Train new staff- Work with existing staff to update existing policies- Order supplies for our main office and 8 additional after school locations while utilizing a budget- Manage various credit card accounts- Make weekly bank deposits- Develop financial reports for our Executive Director so he can monitor the stability of our programs year to year- Use our cargo van to deliver equipment to our locations utilizing a deadline- Help our development team with planning and staffing fundraising events- Repair and/or replace computers, tablets, site cell phone and networking equipment.
