Ensuring that Scout Networks adheres to PCI-DSS and HIPPA standards and certifications is a very important part of my role as we manage many customer firewalls and endpoints that also must comply to these standards. I also manage the Managed Services side of Scout Networks, focusing on and capturing our full growth potential. Our return on all investments, including our most important, our employees, is always at the forefront of my daily responsibilities. I make sure that everyone is prepared and has everything they need to be successful. I push my team to further education and implemented a certification policy to pay for any successful certification taken. This has increased productivity and confidence in our employees. I provide support to my staff in all IT related escalations. I work with customer site owners and/or managers, vendors and end users to ensure that incidents are handled promptly and resolved efficiently. Projects are monitored closely so that our return on investment is always in the black and exceeding expectations.

Troubleshot and repaired all levels of systems from desktops to rack servers, provided training to any employee that required it to ensure that systems continued to work as effectively and efficiently as designed to do. Using Microsoft’s VISIO I am able to effectively design a network and share ideas with team mates, as well as create a portfolio of any network so that anyone can look and find any information in one spot. SharePoint Services Workspace creation for customers was always done with individual needs in mind and all security and group int.egrations was analyzed and monitored closely. As an IT Consultant I wore many, many hats at one time • Provided onsite and phone support for customers experiencing outages or requiring a change request for a majority of Microsoft networks with HSI connections. Worked closely with owners and managers of Small to Medium businesses to achieve and exceed their needs • Provided Vendor management for customer base. I was the point of contact for all software/hardware vendors • Disaster Recovery was always my #1 priority when designing new systems or upgrading older ones. By utilizing a system that would allow local faster restores for a small instances to off-site storage for catastrophe cases. • Designed and implemented all levels of security for every company independently from badge access servers to network security by utilizing ACL lists and implementing Watchgaurd Firebox level security Show less Over seen day to day operations of over 100 corporate networks over this time period, including but not limited to Client/Server environments, Creation and management of Domain Objects, User roles and security groups to protect file security as well as application and object security, LAN/WAN/WLAN design, setup and security, Application Database Administration such as SQL, ACT and ACCESS including Data migration, Repository backups and restores and performance turning.
