Reviewed shop drawings, RFIs, submittals and process payments for works completed by both contractor and subcontractor using the MURK 1 System as per NYCDOT standards. Provided construction and safety oversight services onsite, project meetings and overall project control. The contract involved the rehabilitation of bridge span drive machinery, bearings, centering locks, machinery, electrically operated brakes, shafts, couplings, PLC’s and MCC’s. Supervised the reconstruction of Baruch College Plaza on E25th Street in Manhattan, monitored the contractor to ensure compliance with NYCDDC requirements, reviewed RFI submittals in Procore, shop drawings and processed payments for works completed by the contractor and subcontractor using the NYCDDC PIMS Professional Payment Management. Reviewed and processed change order items, wrote daily reports of daily activities, conducted ACI Level 1 concrete tests for structural, curb and sidewalk concrete. Provided construction and site safety oversight services. The contract work included the installation of upgraded amenities including lighting, landscaping, benches,decorative paving, tree planting, granite seating and steps as well as infrastructure upgrades.
