In aggregate, the firm raised approximately $80 million of committed capital across its legacy hedge fund strategy and multiple special purpose vehicles. Since becoming a portfolio manager, Mr. Bailey has outperformed his respective benchmark indices despite a historic correction in energy equities and unprecedented volatility. Recently he has appeared on podcasts and has periodically been quoted in publications such as Bloomberg and Reuters. --- After being appointed sole portfolio manager for the late, T. Boone Pickens' long/short equity strategy, BP Capital Energy Horizons, the energy sector depreciated by ~90% from Mr. Bailey’s first day on December 1st, 2014, until the lows on March 18th, 2020. In fact, more than 75% of Mr. Bailey’s career, as a portfolio manager, was spent in a bear market, but he wouldn't trade those trials and tribulations for anything. In addition to the investors that entrusted him with their capital, and made this endeavor a possibility, he is forever grateful for the lessons that were learned while being a person who worked smart, honestly and diligently for his investors.
