I had the pleasure of working with Bill while he was the Director of continuous improvement for Ametek MRO . I hired Bill to Implement a continuous improvement and operational excellence strategy for the MRO Division. Bill is a passionate individual with in-depth knowledge of lean principles combined with solid understanding of all aspects of the business. His hard work, enthusiasm and passion is truly contagious. Bill has a unique ability to to drive a culture change, implement a continuous improvement strategy while getting buy in from all levels of the organization. in a very short period time Bill's efforts have produced noticeable results and in less than one year we have seen significant improvements in quality, turn time, safety and financial performance. I've personally learned a great deal from Bill's wealth of knowledge and leadership skills and would highly recommend Bill for any organization looking to adopt a lean and continuous improvement culture

I was fortunate to work closely with Bill while he served as Director of Continuous Improvement, (CI) for the MRO Division of Ametek Aerospace and Defense. Bill is a charismatic executive that instantly connects with the people that he is working with. He has a strong talent for assessing a situation with a team and creating an environment where the team clearly recognizes opportunities for improvement and commits to implementing improvements. Bill’s talent allows him to quickly work with a team to develop and implement Continuous Improvement activity so that it becomes a part of the organizations culture and will become standard work. Bill’s background and experience brings him instant credibility within an organization from the shop floor to the Executive Office. Bill is a strong leader with a diverse background that enables him to review a high level strategy, break it down to functional components and then develop Continuous Improvement plans and actions to support the strategy. Bill was faced with some very challenging circumstances; he remained calm and focused keeping the team calm and focused. He taught the organization how to deploy Continuous Improvement activity to work through difficult situations. I was sorry to see Bill move on to his next challenge and would highly recommend him as a Continuous Improvement Leader that will deliver results. While Bill is an exceptional CI leader, he is capable of making a larger contribution to an organization and I am confident that Bill will be equally successful as a General Manager.
