It was great to work with Andrew and be part of what has been achieved with Bristol Sport. The progress made with the stadium and IT infrastructure during his tenure has been incredible. There is an excellent culture within the organisation that sets a good solid foundation for the future.

Andrew was relatively new in post when McLaughlin & Harvey were awarded the contract to redevelop Ashton Gate, home to Bristol City FC and Bristol Rugby. The project was challenging in no small part due to the very constrained nature of the site and the need to keep the stadium live throughout the demolition and re-building process carried out over 26 months. Andrew and his team were very supportive and he appreciated the abnormal challenges associated with delivering the project. As such he was very pragmatic and whilst preserving the best interests of the Club also sympathetic to the needs of the Contractor who often needed a helping hand around access and coordinating his works with the needs of the Club to get on with building to a very tight timescale. The transformation of the stadium to the highest standards and the exponential rise in commercial activity at Ashton Gate were overseen by Andrew with the minimum of fuss and an ability to get the best out of people. We look forward to having the opportunity of working with Andrew again and wish him 'Good Luck' in his future ventures, which I have no doubt will be very successful.
