My role as a Sales Assistant within this store involved working alongside others to ensure that we were reaching sales targets and providing quality customer service at all times. Working under pressure was a typical part of this job and I feel that I have been left fully able to deal with the ranging pressures and demands of the retail sector as a result. Raising money for charity was also a large part of my job and is something I feel to be necessary within large companies such as this. Towards the end of my time here, I was granted temporary management status in order to cover maternity leave; this provided me with exciting experience of managing people and a taster of what is involved in running a business.
