  I assist faculty with course design/re-design and the most effective use of our provided technology and tools within our LMS and Office 365. I administer our Brightspace (Desire2Learn) LMS and am responsible for implementing and maintaining our learning object repository (LOR) so I am very familiar with SCORM. A lot of my responsibility includes training and faculty development so I conduct various workshops as well as develop various online training materials and documentation to include Brightspace, UDL, accessibility, and Office 365.Additional I serve as co-chair of various sub-committes of our Planning Council and as a member of various other committees.

  My duties were varied. I taught a few different technology and web programming/design classes, both online credit courses as well as continuing education courses. I was also responsible for everything technology related for my area such as end user computers, our web and database servers, Tandberg systems, mobile devices, etc. I was heavily involved with professional development and training for our faculty. I trained on usage of our LMS (Desire2Learn), usage of Web 2.0 in courses, course design and delivery, and online pedagogy.
