Progressive servant leader that on built a cohesive fire fighting team that exceeded Air Force standards and was awarded and highlighted as an outstanding fire department. Learned many aspects of military and fire officer leadership skills during my 28 year military fire fighting career. Obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Completed highest level of certification as a fire officer, fire Instructor, National Incident Management System certified, and the Civil Engineering Fire Chief Superintendent course. Designed, lobbied, and obtained 12.5M in funding from Air National Guard Leadership for necessary equipment to train and certify in Hazardous Materials Technician program.After retirement received licensing for life and health and Property and Casualty insurance. Became and independent insurance small business owner. Selected to be an Associate Director and a District General Agent for a couple of large insurance companies totaling six years of upper management and leadership within the insurance industry. Currently seeking management or director opportunities in a business, training, or sales leadership environment. Looking to relocate to the Akron, Ohio or surrounding area.
