  Developed and submitted ORIL research grant proposal for full scale load distribution testing of a concrete T-beam bridge with advanced deterioration. If this proposal advances, the proposed testing will be performed in early 2023 immediately prior to demolition. Beatty Park Arch Bridge, Friends of Beatty Park: I am developing a feasibility study for the rehabilitation of an 1884 stone arch bridge. The arch is currently closed to traffic due to the partial collapse of the arch ring. I performed a level survey which identified movement of the intact arch stones. I am preparing AutoCAD drawings of the structure, including conceptual plans for rehabilitation, load rating of the restored arch using graphic statics, and estimated quantities and costs. I am assisting the Kent State University Urban Design College in the proposed development of the Detroit-Superior Bridge lower deck as public space. I am researching the construction of 8 aluminum bridge superstructures from 1934 through the 1980s, their performance (They are holding up very well, except for the Iowa bridge removed for an interchange improvement!), and the potential to develop future aluminum bridge superstructures.
