Appointed as CEO in March 2016, Bill is leading Delta Institute’s innovative and impactful work to create a more sustainable and resilient Great Lakes region. From 2011 to 2015, Bill served as Managing Director at Delta, guiding strategy and implementation across Delta’s diverse portfolio of sustainability project work. While at Delta, Bill has led work related to environmental markets, climate, agriculture, water and ecosystems. He earned an MS in Environmental Analysis and Decision Making from Rice University, and received a BS in Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology and Environmental Studies from Tulane University. Bill is a trustee of the Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund, and he is a member of the Vital Lands Working Group dedicated to coordinating conservation efforts across Illinois. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board for Loyola University Chicago Institute of Environmental Sustainability.
