Responsible for managing the warehouse and facilities for a wholesale beer distributorship with annual sales of over $100 million. Duties include: Daily inventory management of over 900 SKU's.* Responsible for maintaining inventory levels sufficient for sales on a weekly basis. Preparation of a weekly forecast based on prior year sales and trending analysis. Responsible for the daily management of receiving and loading of over 1,500 orders. Responsible for managing our relationships with external vendors that perform work for Bueno Beverage Company, which includes all facilities maintenance vendors. Directly responsible for managing the facility to operate in compliance with OSHA and DOT standards. Coordinate with CFO to maintain monthly budget compliance in relation to overall facilities expense, vehicle maintenance expense, and personnel expenses. Direct management of 4 supervisors and indirectly 30 warehouse and maintenance staff. Accomplishments The primary facilitator of Bueno Beverage Company's warehouse expansion. This $2.5 million project required that I work closely with the architect, engineer, and construction team. I designed the workflow chart to create trip reductions in our warehouse that would increase our loading efficiency by 40% and implemented workflow into the design of the expansion with the help of the architects and our onsite construction superintendent. Researched and analyzed the efficiencies of an articulating layer picker to increase efficiencies for loading bulk stop customers that led to the purchase of that machine. The layer picker has allowed us to increase the cases picked per hour by over 100 cases per employee. Show less
