Bill's drive for success is really what stud him out amongst others. He always wanted to ensure his account executives were moving fast and out hustling the competition. Bill was always client-focused and thrived when given the opportunity to meet face to face. I had the privilege of learning a lot from Bill during his time as my Sales Director.       I am happy to share that I am starting a new position as Chief Retirement Officer-Lovejoy Household reporting to my wife as CEO of the Lovejoy Household. She tells me my position will change all too soon to, COO of the Honey-Do list. Most thanks go to my family who was the true support during this time of working outside the house. After 46 years in IT Industry sales, it is time to move on…….. I have had the good fortune to work in this amazing industry, travel throughout the country, hopefully mentor many people along the way, and learn from many talented people throughout that time. There have been many rounds of golf with employees and customers over those years. I leave things in the hands of those much younger, eager, and with talent beyond their years. I will be working in a new role as well outside of the house. In addition to retiring from IT sales. I will be doing something entirely different with a company called Aerwave- offering next generation connectivity platforms leading the Digital Foundation transformation in multifamily residential buildings. As well, volunteer work is in order. So, many changes over this next few years. I thank the HP family where I spent close to 24 years between HP and HPE. I wish to thank Hank W. who over 30 years ago, brought me to Texas from Ohio, to drive the Oil & Gas business for HP. Texas has become mine and my family’s home over this period of time. In my time (now I will truly date myself) I remember such items as punch cards, magnetic tape, mylar tape, removable disk storage drives and disk cartridges, 3 ½ and 5 ¼ floppy disks, semi-conductor memory and all sorts of SSD’s. I have been around Burroughs Mainframes, Ledger Card Machines, the HP 3000, and the HP150. I even sold one of the first large scale HP Laser Printers. It has been a blast but I do look forward to the next many years that God puts in my path. Blessings to all. May your career be as fulfilling as was mine over all those years. Show less
