  The title reflects the customer facing component of the role. The Pricing Manager is accountable for the setting of transmission prices and the recovery of revenue for use of the South Australian transmission network. This involves leading a small group of professionals and engagement with customers. At a national level it has also been rewarding to work with and provide leadership to the Grid Australia (subsequently Energy Networks Australia) transmission pricing managers group.The broader role encompasses regulatory management, advice and stakeholder management including contributing to the Grid Australia regulatory managers and pricing groups. In this role I am responsible for the preparation of regulatory updates for executive and board, the preparation of regulatory submissions and have been invited to present at a number of AEMC public forums.Key achievements include:► Leading engagement with the Australian Energy Regulator on their reforms and reviews including economic regulation (Better Regulation) and Service Targets.► Working collaboratively with management, staff and auditors to lead the first and subsequent rounds of regulatory information notice (RIN) submissions for ElectraNet.► Leading engagement with the Australian Energy Markets Commission on various reviews including Connections and Planning, Integration of Storage, Inter-regional Charging.► Maintaining positive relationships with jurisdictional stakeholders including the Office of the Technical Regulator and ESCOSA.The skill set required for this role spans regulatory, engineering and commercial with an ability to present well to stakeholders.
