Bill has provided a tremendous service for our organization during his years at The Art Institute of York directing their Career Services team. As a recruiter, it's very important to get acquainted with the best and brightest from each graduating class and Bill was a great partner to help us locate the right early career talent for our clients. He knew students' strengths and weaknesses, what type of organizational culture would be be the best fit and had a keen understanding of their competencies, skills and interests. Bill truly cared about making an impact on their lives and providing the best career service possible - a real rarity in higher education. Bill is personable, engaging and has a keen ability to build relationships - with students, parents, alumni and faculty. He is trustworthy because he consistently follows through and cares about the quality of his work. Bill has my highest recommendation!

Tim H.

The thing I find most remarkable about Bill is his very conscientious and passionate approach to all aspects of his job. Bill is an extremely dedicated employee and very thorough, taking his job very seriously; yet he is always able to maintain a uniquely personable interaction with peers, students, faculty and staff. Couple that with his intelligent approach to his responsibilities and his excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you understand immediately why he is considered one of the most well-respected and well-liked members of my staff. During our time working together, Mr. Gutshall has consistently demonstrated a passion for helping students succeed and persist, helping to lead the York Campus to the highest levels of persistence and registered class credits for all 51 Art Institutes across the U.S. for several consecutive years. He is clearly self-motivated, emotionally intelligent, and full of potential beyond the exceptional work he does at The Art Institute of York. Therefore, I highly recommend him to any organization looking for an executive level employee.
