I have been involved in the Public Safety field since 1989, all with the City of Carmel. I was a 911 Operator and I wokred every shift imaginable. I have also been A Shift Supervisor at the Commuications Center for 6 yrs, then got promoted to 911 Operations Manager for City of Carmel, in that position from1999-2011. Appointed Director of Communications in 2011 and held position until 2012 when the Center was merged with the county Communications Center. I did not move on to the county because I was offered to stay with the City as a Records Specialist with the Carmel Police Department. I have been my current position since 2012. I am looking to retire sooner rather then later from the City and to start another chapter of my life. I have enjoyed my 33 yrs to this point in the Public Safety field.
