Routine responsibilities • Monitoring all health and safety activities and ensuring appropriate implementation. • Ensuring compliance to all determined standards for all HSE programs. • Inspection of all contract equipment and ensuring compliance to all HSE regulations. • Inspecting job site in case of hazardous work activities and performing safety analysis on it. • Analyzing all site accidents and recommending correction when required. • Performing routine inspections and audit as per HSE procedures. • Implementing various health and safety regulations as per required procedures. • Participating in investigations for all accidents. • Monitoring inquiries for HSE issues from internal and external parties. • Planning and implementing various preventative activities to prevent all losses. • Conducting risk assessment for different areas. • Working for development of Health and Safety culture in the organization. • Issuing/verification of all kinds of permits and also implementing recommendations to ensure safety while carrying out critical jobs in highly flammable areas, confined space, hot works, cold works, etc. • Identification of substances hazardous to health and recommendation of strategies to eliminate and reduce risk to personnel in accordance with international standards. • Advise Project Managers for Safety and Health matters and remind their obligation. • Co-ordinate with different departments QC / Material Planning / Production / Project Management and Client on H&S issues. Attending Kick-Off, Weekly Progress and Safety Meetings • To manage Fire Station, First Aid Centre, ambulance and other fire and safety related facilities. • Making of SOP’s regarding handling of inflammables and combustibles. • Making of SOP’s regarding fire safe premises. • Administrating all emergency response activities and recommending improvements as per requirement. • Inspection of firefighting equipment.
