  As a Ph. D candidate majoring in physics, I am proficient at quantitative analysis and C++ programing. I have great interest in quantitative finance analysis and have determined to pursue a quant career. I got my bachelor degree from Peking University in 2006 with a major GPA of 3.8/4 in physics and now I am pursuing my Ph. D under the supervision of Prof. Jie Zhang (member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University) and Prof. Zhengming Sheng (Director of the Institute of Plasma Physics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University). So far, I have had 6 English papers published in international top-tier journals such as Physical Review E. Besides, I was invited to 5 international conferences, especially the 7th international conference on Computational Physics, to give reports. Since I determined to pursue my career in Finance, I have learned the knowledge of Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Applied Corporate Finance, Securities Investment Analysis, and participated in the training courses such as Asset Pricing, Arbitrage Pricing, and Financial Derivatives at the GuoLaiRen Business School. Now I read the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times everyday to train my financial sense and judgment. Show less
