🎵 Sing and Sign Instructor | Empowering Early Communication through Music and Connection 🤟🗣️ Hello there! I'm delighted to share my journey as a Sing and Sign Instructor, where I'm on a mission to unlock the doors of language development and harmonious communication for young learners. 🎶 My Journey: Having witnessed the incredible impact of Sing and Sign classes on my own son's language skills, I was compelled to embark on this path. The fusion of melodies with sign language creates a dynamic environment that not only aids in language development but also empowers children to communicate effectively even before they can speak. 🧒 The Magic of Sign Language: Through the magic of signs and songs, children learn to express their needs, thoughts, and feelings, which significantly reduces frustration and tantrums. By equipping them with a bridge of communication, we lay the foundation for a smoother developmental journey. 🤝 Join us: I'm excited to connect with families who are eager to embrace this enriching adventure of language development, music, and bonding. Together, we'll cultivate an atmosphere where young minds flourish, and where the art of communication unfolds harmoniously through the universal languages of music and sign. Reach out to me if you're interested in joining our vibrant Sing and Sign community. Let's embark on a journey of nurturing language skills, fostering early communication that benefits both children and parents. 🌍🎤🤗 #SingAndSign #EarlyCommunication #LanguageDevelopment #TantrumFree #FamilyBonding Show less

My role at Starlight Children’s Foundation gave me an incredible amount of experience. As my first job out of college, I gained not only an understanding of office life, but working for a small, but busy nationwide charity enabled me to acquire a working knowledge of the charity sector as a whole. With almost everything undertaken in house, I was one of a small team who oversaw all community fundraising events. Handling general enquiries, maintaining the supporter database and processing donations from the initial point of contact, support during fundraising, right up to sending a receipt and thank you letter. The events team, sports fundraising and corporate support often called upon me to help with various projects and major fundraising events, be it the London Marathon cheering team, auction spotting at a fundraising ball, looking after a celebrity at a city trading day such as ICAP or BGC, or dressing as a fairy and bucket shaking! As this was a small charity with no marketing team at the time, I set up and maintained social media pages and also took the intuitive to create seasonal fundraising posters and created the Fundraising Pack. I also wrote and designed school mail-shots to encourage primary school charity of the year partnerships. I enjoy going the extra mile not only for the cause but also for supporters and beneficiaries. I have a strong belief in giving the best experience possible to all I encounter in the workplace and I always enjoyed building relationships and converting donors into long term supporters.
