Assist with scheduling tests and treatment, including the coordination of multiple appointments amongst several different departments, programs, and specialties. Assist with pre-authorization process, acting as a liaison between the pre-authorization team, physician office and patient. Provide updates to patients and MD’s as needed on timing and status of authorizations. Promote “hassle free" referring for MD offices, acting as a concierge for not only the patient but the referring MD. Facilitate referrals to appropriate care providers as requested.
