I hand-picked Bianca to join our newly created team within Technical Talent Sourcing as part of TA efforts. In addition to an emphasis on inbound sourcing and a hyper focus on outreach and engagement to people from underrepresented communities, she also had the opportunity to do some passive talent outreach. Even though this was a transition for Bianca coming from STEM college admissions, she has been so enthusiastic, eager to learn, highly capable and smart, an effective communicator and listener, with a big heart to match. Hoping to have the opportunity to work with Bianca again in the near future- she is an absolute joy to be around!

Bianca is an outstanding Student Affairs professional that I have had the pleasure of working alongside since Spring 2019. She has experience in several specific roles creating, leading, and implementing diversity, inclusion, and belonging strategies. We have instructed the SDSU Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) university seminar course together for 2 semesters, and I have witnessed how well Bianca connects with and supports students to succeed in college and their career. She fearlessly tackles new challenges and proposes creative projects and events. Despite managing multiple projects simultaneously, she consistently shows flexibility and adaptability and meets deadlines. She has excellent written and oral communication skills as well as excelled in facilitating and presenting in both small and large settings. She has demonstrated strong leadership skills while working on my team for the SDSU Women in Engineering Program (which she co-founded alongside me) and College of Engineering Femineer®Program. She collaborates and strategizes well with our community and industry partners, and has taken lead roles such as with our partnership for the San Diego STEM Ecosystem's Role Model Initiative where she provided effective data analysis and reporting. Bianca is dependable and has the creative drive to ensure success in everything she invests her time and talent.
