I had the urge to be on my own which led me to start a retail ice cream parlor under the name of Ice and Fire in a residential area and became a Franchise of Vadilal Ice Cream a 100-year-old reputed brand in Ice Creams. My firm had the privilege of being the first full-fledged parlor of Vadial Ice Cream in Thane City. Roles encompassed. • Purchasing and Inventory Management ensuring adequate supply of products. • Developing innovative and creative Marketing strategies to increase footfall and up-sale products. • Managing the hygiene, safety standards and ambience of the location. • Primary focus was always on Customer Satisfaction to ensure repeat cliental. Buoyed with the success of the retail venture I upscaled my business and became a distributor of Aaditya Ice Cream (Part of The VRL Group) under the name of my firm Just Chill in 2017. Aaditya Ice Cream was subsequently taken over by Hindustan Unilever LTD and became an associate brand of Kwality Wall’s. Key Highlights and Achievements. • Handling a network of 150 retailers in the city of Thane and nearby areas supervising a team of 10. • Ensuring Timely Delivery of products to the clients and managing the supply chain starting from the factory Gate. • Responsible for the entire gamut of operations, accounts, management, hiring of staff and providing the necessary feedback and reports to the parent company.
