The notebook is used by over 2000 users, and allows time to be entered manually or automatically from existing Matter Events. Conducted design sessions, produced statement of work, and performed all development tasks. Wrote script to convert over 2 million rows of existing time entry data into Law Manager. Built interface to send monthly time entry data extract to legacy time reporting system. Project was completed early and under budget. • Disposition Entry and Reporting Redesign - Created innovative solution to improve Disposition Entry by reducing the complexity of the disposition screens. Disposition amounts are calculated and automatically summarized on the case header, allowing administrators to perform powerful cost reporting and searching. • Juvenile Crimes Notebook Enhancements - Performed a comprehensive overhaul of existing Law Manager Juvenile Crimes Notebook resulting in dramatic speed and usability improvements. Tasks included upgrading the Law Manager Notebooks Designer module, modifying over 500 business scripts, and installing and configuring LawManager.Server and IIS. • Invoice Notebook Enhancements - Consulted with legal billing staff to redesign, enhance, and automate the basic out-of-the-box Law Manager Invoice Notebook. The new Invoice Notebook features full support for foreign currencies, displaying USD and foreign amounts side-by-side, and allowing for real-time lookup of exchange rates via a web service provider. The Invoice Notebook is currently used to process several million dollars of legal invoices per month. Invoices are entered both manually by staff and electronically via the DataCert AIMS product. Payments are sent electronically through a nightly feed to Citigroup’s internal P2P system. • Law Manager 98 Enhancements - Performed support and maintenance of legacy Law Manager 98 system. Several projects included: automatic timekeeper rate adjustment based on approved rate table, e-mail integration, duplicate Entity and Address consolidation utility, and export and handoff of data to MetLife, Inc. due to sale of Travelers Life and Annuity division.
