Project: “Development Of Neonatal Health Care Service Delivery Model For Rural India” - Funded by UNICEF.1. Developed and structured refresher training manual for ASHA on Home Based Post Natal Care (HBPNC) in coordination with experts from UNICEF and NRHM (Haryana).2. Imparted refresher trainings to ASHA on HBPNC.3. Prepared community mobilization plan (covering 4 Primary Health Centres i.e. 1,70,000 population).4. Prepared tools/questionnaires for Baseline survey, KABP (Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior and Practices) survey. 5. Trained (as to how fill the questionnaire and do survey) and managed a team of 15-20 surveyors included in the Baseline and KABP surveys. The output of the survey will help in understanding the perception of parents towards neonates and will further help AIIMS and UNICEF in making a rural model for improving Neonatal Mortality which will further help in reducing Infant Mortality Rate.6. Prepared tools (for FGD’s & In depth interviews) and conducted Focus Group Discussion (FGD’s) and in-depth interviews with MO’s, ANM, AWW and ASHA.7. Provided technical assistance for planning and implementation for improving essential newborn care and post natal care services at home level
