Alongside NTU iGEM, I help to organise and conduct µBioMachines, a half-day online workshop on synthetic biology aimed towards students in secondary institutions and assisted in making educational videos. As part of the Hardware team, I helped to build the Heterologous Expression bioReactor system with Optogenetic control (HERO), a portable bioreactor aimed towards biomanufacturing via optogenetic control. Along with my 10-man platoon, I was trained to construct, retrieve, and maintain the bridge and its component parts.
