Undergraduate Researcher

Feb 2008 - Feb 2009
I was an undergraduate researcher at the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies at MIT. I worked on a wide array of projects that apply user-oriented design and nanotechnology in order to improve the lives and mission-effectiveness of soldiers and first-responders. I primarily worked on two projects while at the lab. One project focused on developing wireless devices to aid soldiers and first responders to environments where they had no access to GPS. My other project focused on using thin film coatings to help improve the efficiency of solar cells by blocking radiation that normally decreases the efficiency of solar cells.
