- In consultation with the Music Director and Executive Director, ensure the highest quality production of all concert events. - Manage all production contracts, technical riders and guest artist itineraries. - Establish and manage detailed budgets for all company productions and presentations on an annual basis. Closely monitor and report against such budgets on a monthly basis with particular attention to ensuring hiring and technical costs are aligned to budget. - Create production documentation and stage plots. - Liaise with, supervise and manage venue staging crews working on RSO productions at each of the venues used by the company. - Ensure proper set-up and arrangement of orchestra for concerts and events. This will also include set changes for concerts, providing the best possible working conditions for musicians on and off stage, and assisting our staff in anticipating and managing logistical problems. - Create and maintain season calendar on OPAS. Communicate schedule changes or any other issues efficiently with staff and musicians. - Plan, manage, and oversee all technical aspects relating to RSO productions inclusive of lighting, sound, and staging; site management for offsite and outdoor events; and tour management for run outs. - Assist with planning and coordination of stage logistics in all venues, including load in/load out schedules. - Maintains a working knowledge of the Contractually Binding Agreement and advises on compliance with agreements when necessary. - Oversee agreements with IATSE local 295 at the Conexus Arts Centre. - Serve as the administration representative on the RSO’s Occupational Health & Safety Committee Show less

Communicate logistics to guests to ensure all personnel are fully prepared for event activity. - Assists event producers on-site at events, providing liaison with venue and third-party suppliers e.g., Catering, security, registration process, name badging, ordering and setting up event materials etc. to ensure the smooth running of operational logistics at the event and to ensure good clear up/de-rig and evaluation. - To co-ordinate and manage small scale events up to the value of £40K and the associated health & safety risk at small scale events, supported by Event Producers/Managers. - Contribute to event team projects which may require research skills, creative thinking, creative solutions and provide new innovative ideas or materials which may be of use to the wider team.
