Bex and I worked together at Refugee Women Connect starting as volunteers, and moving to becoming contracted staff. She is hardworking and enjoys what she does. Bex will go above and beyond what was asked of her to ensure she was providing the best service when working with service users, either through the bi-weekly drop in sessions or the separate mental health sessions. Bex is excellent with children. She was able to work with and lead a large group of children during weekly drop in sessions. Her temperament was always kind, calm and collected and she has remained an approachable figure for service users of all ages. She is empathetic and has worked hard to provide numerous activities for both service users and their children including arts and crafts and separate yoga and wellness sessions. Bex is extremely personable. She is very kind and can adapt to any group of people or any situation. She will go out of her way to help others. She is precise and cares about her role; her dedication and passion are always clear. It was a pleasure to be able to work alongside her for as long as I did and I believe she would be an asset to any team.
