Bev is an exceptional team player, supporting others and freely sharing ideas to enhance the business. She is also an outstanding leader and manager and very highly regarded by her team. Bev is quick to respond to and embrace change making her very flexible in her approach. Her knowledge of IT and software packages is comprehensive and her attention to detail in lessons or managing her team ensures that the English department is very successful. I would happily work with Bev again in the future!

I taught on the A level English programmes (language, literature, and the language and literature combined), GCSE English and BTEC ICT courses. I was also the curriculum coordinator for the Access to HE provision and taught English, Sociology and ICT at level 3. I was a personal tutor for A Level and Access students and I also taught Key Skills ICT, Communication and Numeracy to level 3, and Functional Skills English, as well as teaching on the Adult Basic skills courses for Literacy, ICT and Numeracy. As a part of the extended curriculum, I supervised the student debating society and supported one of our teams into third place in the Rotary Club Public Speaking Competition 2010. Show less
