Fluent in facilitating innovative thinking and unusually persistent and resilient in finding collaborations and pathways for innovations to reach impact, Megan has been an insightful and valued senior colleague as we worked together at Global Good to design invention workshops related to food security and nutrition, and learning sessions with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to present to Bill and his team on climate change, zoonoses (diseases that pass from animals to humans, now extraordinarily timely), and artificial intelligence for precision land use in agriculture. Always well-organized and well-connected, Megan has been able to draw productively from familiarity developed in past work with renewables, algae and other resources, and leadership in Global Good's award-winning vaccine logistics deployment work.

One of the great pleasures of working at Intellectual Ventures was the opportunity to engage regularly with incredibly smart and talented individuals from disciplines vastly different from my own. Of all those people, the work I had the opportunity to do with Megan -- whether at a trade show in Germany or enlisting her as a subject matter expert on Capitol Hill educating lawmakers and staff about the work of Global Good -- was among the most satisfying. She had an ability to translate the science and humanitarian projects and programs on which she worked into a relatable basis for public policymaking that was always inspiring to witness. And, she was always unfailingly gracious and patient with her audience, and with her less scientifically knowledgeable colleagues (i.e., me). I really can't think of another person working in the sciences about whom I'd be as excited to be able to work with again. And, I can't think of anyone as kind and generous with their knowledge and time, or as willing to jump in and help out a colleague with a project where her expertise could be the key ingredient for its success. Our public policy programs were always better and better received on Capitol Hill when Megan was involved in them. I highly recommend her to any organization seeking to work with a smart, talented executive with extensive experience in energy and global health sciences and policy. She's a marvel.
