  LifeLink Legacy Fund is a 501(c)3 extension of LifeLink Foundation with focuses on fundraising to support the mission of LifeLink Foundation, to provide assistance to organ transplant patients facing financial need with associated costs for transplant-related care, and to aid research endeavors benefitting organ and tissue donation and transplantation outcomes in the communities served by LifeLink Foundation.As Program Manager of LifeLink Legacy Fund I oversee all areas of programming, to include relationship management with and regular reporting to the Board of Directors; managing constituent database and acknowledgment correspondence; continued growth and development of Employee Giving Program for recurring Payroll Deduction contributions benefitting the Legacy Fund via employee engagement initiatives; drafting of 501(c)3 required financials, including Form 990; and fostering/maintaining relationships with key financial contributors. As part of community engagement, I lead planning efforts for the annual Roar Through Ybor 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run on behalf of LifeLink Legacy Fund, including sponsorship solicitation and event marketing. I also participate in media interviews and attend community fundraisers benefitting the Legacy Fund year-round, serving as organization spokesperson.To aid efforts for providing financial assistance to organ transplant patients with their transplant-related care expense, I work closely with our organ transplant center partners across Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico. Maintaining relationships with transplant social workers is key to ensure that timely referrals for financial assistance, on behalf of their patients. This includes ongoing education to transplant center staff about LifeLink Legacy Fund application policies/procedures, maintaining online resource page www.lifelinkfoundation.org/FinancialAssistance, and transplant center staff engagement initiatives year-round. Additionally, I acted as primary media spokesperson and managed media relations; had a leadership role with production of annual "Faces of Transplantation" publication (calendar & annual report); did website management; served as liaison to other divisions within Foundation, including Tissue Bank and LifeLink Legacy Fund; and assisted with other projects, as needed.   As Committee Chairperson I lead a team of 20 liaisons, representing 10 member organ, eye and tissue organizations, to promote the donation message throughout the 208 driver license offices across Florida. This was done in conjunction with partnerships with the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) and the Florida Tax Collectors Association. While Committee Chairperson, I assisted with planning and implementation of statewide campaign efforts to educate driver license customers about organ & tissue donation year-round about how they can designate themself as a donor during a driver license transaction or online at www.DonateLifeFlorida.org. During tenure, the committee achieved an increase of 84% in first-time driver license transaction-based donor registrations and an additional 94,829 online donor registrations that were attributed to having heard about donation via “driver license services.” Show less
