In addition to the duties I had as a technician, I created and maintained inventory of all IT equipment, expanded and migrated teams and users from server folders to Sharepoint intranet, manage complex permissions and site maintenance. Created detailed user setup checklist to ensure a consistent user experience when receiving a new workstation or as a new employee. Updated and migrated old printed forms to intranet with Microsoft Infopath or Adobe Acrobat. Manage life cycle of equipment and prepared 2016 budget for IT expenditures, including projected costs when adding new employees. Cleaned up and restored functionality to a support ticketing system. Manage and program Mitel 5000 phone system (and phones) with both digital and IP phones in local office and remote locations. Took over management of corporate cell phones and plan with ATT Wireless. I've finished my extended internship at SPIE. It was so sad to leave, but I am pleased to go to such a highly regarded company (Rice Insurance). I have learned so much and gotten great feedback. I have really grown attached to my wonderful co workers at SPIE! What a great bunch of people. Last month I received a "spot" award for customer service. I love being appreciated!
