I worked with Beth and her team on several projects while I was at Hoover's. Beth's job was quality assurance (QA) and she was quite good at it but she was alway fair and unbiased with her feedback. I learned a great deal about copy writing from Beth. Also her subordinates always respected her a great deal and that says a lot about a person's managerial technique.

Beth and I saw a lot of action in the early days of Hoover’s, and I always admired her for a number of her attributes: her commendable work ethic, her overall knowledge of all things QA, her sharp eye for editing, her client advocacy, and her ability to encourage and promote the best from co-workers and direct reports alike.
